At Anatomy of a New Journalist, a panel of nine AP-Google scholars and MJ Bear fellows listed the top skills and traits a journalist needs today. “Mentorship goes both ways,” panelists agreed, and at this session, professors and experienced journalists listened to and learned from students and young professionals.
