Take a trip to a Phillies game

Just a 15 minute train ride away from the ONA23 conference in the heart of South Philadelphia, the Phillies are making an exhilarating playoff run.

It may be time to get away from the conference building for a couple hours, and Citizens Bank Park provides a perfect escape.

The trolley to the ballpark is located inside City Hall, just a brief walk from Philadelphia Marriott Downtown.

With only 35 games left in the season, every remaining game is critical for Philadelphia.

The Atlanta Braves (82-44) are leading the division by 13.5 games. But the Phillies (69-58) are leading a competitive wild card race in National League. They have a 2.5 game lead over the Chicago Cubs (66-60) and Cincinnati Reds (67-61).

Lurking behind them are three surprising teams: the Arizona Diamondbacks (66-61), San Francisco Giants (66-61) and Miami Marlins (65-63). Only two games separate those three teams and the current wild card holders.

The Phillies took the series against San Francisco earlier this week, including a dramatic walk-off win on Tuesday night after a clutch hit from shortstop Trea Turner. Next up is a three-game set against a struggling St. Louis Cardinals ballclub.

Tickets are available on MLB’s official website, Ticketmaster and StubHub  for as low as $25. Trolley passes can be purchased online through SEPTA’s app.
